That’s great but, I have the code in a page which displays the form. When users want to subscribe, they click on a button which takes them to a defined page displaying the form. Once they enter their information and click submit, the page just refreshes. I’d like to have them go back to the home page instead of looking as if their information wasn’t accepted.

In reply to: [Comment Guestbook] Syntax error displaying commentsA Little more clarification…. I upgraded the comment guestbook plugin ans after doing so, I can no longer see the existing comments. When a user adds a new comment, the syntax error is also displayed. https://www.tylerslight.com

In reply to: WP Admin performance issuesThanks! I renamed the plugins and was able to perform admin tasks again. Now I am adding them back one at a time to see which is the offending plugin. Thanks for your help!

In reply to: WP Admin performance issues@kmessinger – thanks for your reply. Just a couple of questions; like I said, I’m a beginner with WP so not really sure what the “normal debug” consist of… If I rename the plugins like you suggest do they simply not load? Assuming so, then I could go back into the admin console and add them back one at a time – right? If I rename the theme what should I expect? Will the site still load with some default theme.
I’m trying to take care so as to not affect the site itself because it is still functioning fine. I paid someone to set this up for me and I administer it. It was working fine until about 2 months ago… The person I paid to set it up (obviously) is not responsive to my requests for assistance.

In reply to: 3.5.2 update can't access admin areaHello,
I am having a similar issue. I have been experiencing extremely poor performance when trying to administer my site. Many functions were timing out and I would have to retry 3-4 times to get the plug-in page (for example). I upgraded to WP 3.5.2 thinking it would help but, now I can only get to the admin dashboard – no further. Every action I try to take returns a blank page. No error, nothing. The site is still available and performing fine.
I have been trying to resolve this for months. I’ve tried working with Godaddy and my local service provider but, I think I have narrowed it to a WP Admin issue. I do not have much experience with PHP or WordPress so any help is much appreciated.
The site is: tylerslight.comThanks,

In reply to: Featured Image not displaying correctlyOne more thing — Sandra’s comments helped and everything looks good in IE and Firefox but Chrome still has issues.
The graphic basically still is not completely showing AND there is a grey bar about 3/4 from the bottom (basically the same as the navigation bar). Any ideas??Thanks!

In reply to: Featured Image not displaying correctlyTHANK YOU Sandra. I don’t have anything_slides listed in my plugins but, when I went to edit my theme and found the section that called “featured Slider”. I edited the div.anythingSlider li.feature_img and changes the height to 445 and it worked!
I also had the make the same height adjustment on the div.anythingSlider . anythingWindow …thanks for all your help!

In reply to: Featured Image not displaying correctlyIt is on the front page. One graphic is a video and it shows up fine. The other is a BMP image that reads “Register Now”. The “slider control” (not sure if that is the correct name) is covering up the last couple of lines of image.
