Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Synced patterns lock up editorI’ve had an exchange today with a plugin developer who I highly respect – and has always been extremely honest about his code performance – and this is what he told me:
“So there is currently an issue that was introduced in WordPress 6.6 that is causing certain custom blocks including ours to crash when you try and add them to a custom synced pattern.
We’re looking more into this to see if there is a way we can solve it from our end, but a few active threads I’ve found point to it being a bug in WordPress core that will be fixed in an update, but that’s where we’re at for the moment, as we are still testing things on our own dev sites.”
Hopefully, WordPress will acknowledge this issue and fix it from their end.

Mikko –
I am following up once again on this issue with Divi integration. I am in an active conversation with the Elegant Themes Div team, and I convinced them to followup. They are seriously trying to fix this, but he can’t find it on their bug page. So please work with me and let’s try to connect the two side of this to make it work.
They are asking me where did you send your fix to? Do you have a contact you were working with at Div by name? If you can provide me with details, we’ll try to get this fixed.
Thanks
TedI should have waited before sending this. I do not have a problem with the plugin in the Pantheon environment. Totally my mistake. This is closed.
Thanks for the feedback Mikko. I’ve directly contacted Elegant Themes (Divi) and added my request that they fully facilitate the integration of your great plugin across the full Divi system. Hopefully they will act as you have noted.
Really appreciate your responsiveness and honesty on this issue.
