I just checked again, the issue I’m talking about is still here. If you take this page: https://thais-breton.com/portfolio/
The hover animation is working on all 3 icons, but on the first one (“corporate”), it doesn’t hover all the way. The text is faded out, the zoom doesn’t happen entirely and the opacity in the background doesn’t go all the way either like on the other two icons.

I don’t have any caching plugins- could that be the reason?

I bought my WP beginner manager on Godaddy and couldn’t find an option to flush cache.
If none of this new information rings a bell to you I’ll try to contact Godaddy tomorrow.

I found the mistake, forgot to close the first code line with </div>
</div>. But how do I get the first 3 images to be on the top line?

That did it Andrew. I don’t know a thing about coding and just doing these things blindly and I’m really trying to use my logic but logic doesn’t always seem to be enough!

This was 3 months ago! And I’m having the same problem again today so I went back to our exchange only to realise I had not fixed the problem at all. Indeed with this code:

I’m missing the link! So for the past 3 months I didn’t realise that when people clicked on the link all they could see was a picture, but no one complained.

So today I’m trying to add icons to this page: https://thais-breton.com/personal-work/
And as you can see, the first icon looks fine, but it’s supposed to be doing the opposite (start with an image and when you put the mouse on it, text appears), and the other one is doing the weird half fading thing. You can see on other pages what it’s supposed to be doing…

I may have confused things a little so let me ask you again: what is expiring from my account is not called “hosting” but it’s called ” starter managed wordpress”.

AND one of my two domains: I somehow have two domains, one of them is an address I don’t use (thaisbreton.com).

Are the above answers to my questions also valid if this starter managed wordpress expires?

Can I let thaisbreton.com expire without risking loosing content, if what I use is thais-breton.com ?

I don’t even know why I have two domain names, if I remember correctly, when I registered with wordpress they gave me a free domain name but I already had the thais-breton.com I wanted registered on go daddy.

Are things always this confusing?

I think it worked, except for the bottom left image which looks not aligned.
