Hey Questas, yes I do still have contact with my web designer but already paid me and I don’t want to disturb him again. Once I installed the child theme, what should I do in order to fix things? Reset the pho theme but before copy/paste everything from the editor into the child theme?
I’m not even sure how to backup my site so…

As a side note, questas_admin, I might need to start a different thread as this is another question regarding child’s theme:
My web designer did my entire website touching the theme (pho theme)’s structure itself. He mentioned changing stuff in the foot page and the css in the editor. If I make a child theme now, with my website already done, is there a way I can reset the theme back to normal and put his changes onto the child theme? Sounds frightening, especially because it might be hard to find whatever changes he made..

Hey guys!
I don’t know what you typed but it’s not working for me no matter how many times I reset my safari. What I mean is that when I type “thais breton” or even “thais-breton” in Google search, the website appears on the 2nd page only..

I don’t think my web designer touched anything on the core WP or theme files but simply coded on the pages themselves. For every other modification I used Custom CSS. I’m a very noob so FTP seems a bit hard for me!

For the backup of the website, I went on Godaddy’s Cpanel and under BACKUP it proposes: Restore files and database from the last 30 days.

However my website is fine now, everything is where it should be, back on track. If I hit this Restore option, won’t it reset my website back to whatever number of days I choose, instead of providing me with a backup?
Or did you mean that I didn’t NEED a backup of the website since Godaddy has this restoring option in its Cpanel?
