I was able to fix it I think finally. I had my emails set up on godaddy under a different domain account(it was a free email account) but using the same current domain. I deleted those and added them to CPanel under the correct hosting and domain. I also went into cpanel and changed the email routing to remote mail exchanger. The moving of the emails to the correct hosting account seems to be what fixed it.
