Thanks James, the issue was resolved by one of the other people working on it with me, and the problem has been fixed. It was certainly not .htaccess or my plugins folder, it was mainly a problem with our wp-core file, I’m not sure, but that seems like something that would only happen as result of a major update.

It’s not javascript, it is a problem with the backend when trying to log in. When you enter the correct info you get errored out, the original fix we found was resetting the wp-core

It looks like the email alerts thing you have set up through www()ne16()com is not set up properly, I would try remaking the list, and then testing it out with your own e-mail.

I would need more information to help you with this, you haven’t listed a plugin you use, link to your site, or any html copypasta. I need one of these before I can be of any use :/ sorry.

Been having the same problem (I assume), you mean when you enter the right information to log in, it doesn’t let you into the panel, and leaves you with an error page? Try resetting your wp-core.

If you would like to change the Page not found page into a redirect document to go to the page you’ve already created, do this.

instead of a Page not found error, I want it to say: This page is under construction. find the document for page not found (in your ftp), and replace it with a file like this

I do not know what a wp-config.php file is, or how to access it, much less insert anything in it.

wp-config.php, I will break it down for you so you can understand much clearer. wp is wordpress of course, the – is just to signify a break, because wpconfig would be a little more difficult to understand, config is just a shortened version of configuration. and php is just the file type, like a .exe on your desktop. you can edit it through your ftp program, or any php-editing software on the internet, it’s just code though, so I wouldn’t if you don’t know what you’re doing.

I have 1 plugin on my chrome, and disabling that does not help,
I have tried logging in, and that does not work on different browsers/pc’s I think the problem is the login script, and not the login page, because I can use the login screen freely, but trying to log in with the correct information it still does not let me access the website and gives me the “HTTP 500 server error.” it could be outdated visual composer, I will try to disable wordpress plugins and try again.

Try “Contact Form 7”, it is a good plugin with easy customization to help you do the email thing.

This requires a little bit of html, but its very easy

First step: Edit the page
Second step: When your on the page press ctrl+f
Third step: Type </li> or copy it from here
Fourth step: after every </li> put <br>
Fifth step: Be happy and change this thread to resolved
