In reply to: unknown email address-can’t log in from back endI am not able to any of that.
I get the installer, move it to applications
then the server with the following options:Start
Stop
Go To Application
Open Terminal
Visit Bitnami
Get SupportOpen terminal does not work I have to do that manually
Visit Bitnami and get support go to the Bitnami page and the cycle continues
I can not find any other files with would even hint at being configuration files.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: unknown email address-can’t log in from back endI did use this process
https://docs.bitnami.com/installer/get-started/but did not get this screen
https://docs.bitnami.com/images/img/platforms/installer/tutorial-image14.pngit goes directly to an image where you move the installer into applications.
From there it just click the image to open the server, there are no options to access any settings to create a username or password.I am not sure why it is skipping the set process and going straight to install

In reply to: unknown email address-can’t log in from back endI am not seeing
https://127.0.0.1/phpmyadmin
or
https://localhost/phpmyadmin
just a server addressWhat I can not figure out is that during the installation process there is no prompt to set a user name or address. It just downloads the installer and voila!
I think I am going to try Mammp or XammpThank you for your time

In reply to: unknown email address-can’t log in from back endThank you very much for the response. You are the first person on a forum to not respond with a condescending diatribe. So thank you.
The phpMyAdmin download requires a cloudserver I do not have a cloud server I am a student (self study). I did a search online and found a website that has instructions for installing with Mammp and phpMyAdmin, but I noticed something odd
With windows installs you get the option of creating a log in
With Mac it just installs superfast and congradulations you now have the same issue I do. Yes I chose the Mac install. This happened when I tried to use Mammp as well
I do not understand how this can be so difficult, what am I doing wrong?
My online instructor told me that the install was similar on mac, the installation is good but the lack of option to create a username and password is creating this issue.
I was told to use the bitnami username and passwordWhat am I getting wrong?
