In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Navigation IssueI think there must be a JS file or some other similar file that is at issue.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Navigation IssueNo. We no longer experience this issue, however we never really sorted out the cause.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Navigation IssueI have ruled out both a theme conflict and plugin conflict. The issue occurs even if al in one calendar is the only plugin installed.

In reply to: [Timely All-in-One Events Calendar] Calendar Navigation IssueI believe I have ruled out that it is a theme or a plugin conflict AND I have a test multisite installation on a different server which doesn’t display this problem, so I don’t think it is a problem in the calendar plugin itself.
But I’m at a loss as to how to identify the cause.
We are also working to pinpoint what is not working on our servers, and may be closer to understanding the issue.
intranet.pharmacy.pitt.edu is a regular WordPress site. students.pharmacy.pitt.edu is a multisite installation. The servers are in a load balancing configuration, and the third thing that may be adding to the issue is that both have SSL certs. The server admin feels there is an issue with name referencing. We are also on Windows servers.
It would be useful to know if Time.ly has been tested in a multisite config, and if you know if the SSL and a vip are known to interfere with how the calendar feed ought to work.
The fact that you were able to import a feed from intranet.pharmacy.pitt.edu would suggest that the issue is with the students.pharmacy.pitt.edu, which is the multisite installation. Can you import from this calendar:
What does it mean “the import is not functioning”? Is this something I am supposed to know what to do and fix it?

In reply to: [Taxonomy List Widget] Specify the order of tags that are included?I’m still getting no where with this, and hope to get some help.
I’ve imported a list of faculty names in alpha based on last name. I’d like the names to appear on a list in the sidebar based on the order of the tag ID. But it looks as f there are only two options of order-
tag name, which sorts by the first letter (i.e. first letter of first name) or by number of posts. Is there a way to tell the plugin to use tagID for the order?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Social] Can't add Twitter accountsGlad people are having success with a posted fix. I’ve jumped to a different plugin as the fix didn’t help me and looked a little risky if you forget to go back and re-edit the code.
Now using XYZ WP Social Media Auto Publish. It was very simple to set up as a free plugin. But after doing that, I decided to upgrade to the paid plugin which includes posting to a LinkedIn group which was something I’ve wanted for a while, and “social” has stated no plans to support posting to LinkedIn. XYZ support has been very good too.
I’ve really enjoyed this “Social” plugin. Sorry to leave it.
And I am very happy to supports those developers
Many plugin developers actively participate on the support message boards and/or have mechanisms for providing support. At least that has been my experience.
This is a direct quote of a post you made to the support forums: “I am sorry, but there is only support for pro version users.”
I’m sorry you do not like my rating, however, it is a real and fair representation of my experience with your plugin.
I’ve been in the IT business for 17 years and I’m very aware of what is and isn’t reasonable or what can or can not be provided. The FAQ does contain quite a bit of information, however the installation guide is difficult to follow. A better installation guide would go a long way to assisting users.
Again, I’m sorry you do not care for my rating. I have used a number of apps for free, and then based on my experience happily purchased a pro or upgraded version. I don’t feel my interactions with you warrant a similar path.
