In English, at the top, there is a break in the header, and the header is what is taking the longest portion of the load time. What code do you have in your header file?

Aside from the header graphic being a bit slow (and broken?) in loading, I am having no problems with your site.

What provider do you host on?

What version of WP are you using, and what DB are you using?

What is the URL of your site?

What is your internet provider and connection speed?

Have you run antivirus software on your PC? Initial issues appear to be on your end.

Have you tried viewing your site from another browser? (Which I would do after you scan your PC for virus.)

That did it. I re-enabled the key plugins and all is working. Now to go through the remaining ones, decided if I still need them, and if not deleting them, and if the ones remaining are the culprit see if there is an update I don’t have or a better replacement…

Had to remove a plug in that caused the problem with the upgrade. Not sure what plug in anymore though, been changing them around a bit of late…

I can’t seem to get the Blog (postings page) to become a link in the menu either. I have no problems in changing the home page, just in making the blog itself available once I do!

Ok, when I do this, I don’t get a menu option for the blog itself (I had figured this much out on my own), HOW do I get a page for the blog to be a link in the menus?

But then how do you get a page that has the post/blog entries on it?

I personally recommend that you do…

But to answer your question, there is not way to add your own themes to wp.com. You have to select from their many pages of choices, of which Infinity is not an option at this time.

What you did would work for setting up your own site, although you would want a web hosting site and not an FTP site.
