In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events says today is “October 25”Hi @timtrott
Thanks for reaching out, sorry about them closing the other thread. What you are seeing is a normal, default part of the calendar. The date range appears on every calendar out of the box. You can see that here too: https://demo.theeventscalendar.com/
It just shows what the date range is for all the events on that page of the List View. I also tried out the CSS that Iris shared on the other thread and that worked on my site to hide that.
.tribe-events-c-top-bar__datepicker?{ display: none !important; }
When you say that the CSS doesn’t make sense, I’m not quite sure what you mean? I actually tried that through the Inspector on the front end of your site and it did work. Can you elaborate a bit more on what you are seeing?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Error date in WordPress widgetHi there @iss4babibox
Sorry about the trouble you are having here, I can see that two of the dates are the same, but I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with the last 4? Or are they incorrect to begin with?
This issue could be one of many things, so I want to find out some more info about this. First, which widget are you using for this? Or which widget shortcode? Just so I can test this.
The best thing to do in this case would be to test for conflicts, you can follow along with the guide we have here: Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins | Knowledgebase
You will want to try switching to a default theme like 2021 and turn off all other plugins to test this. Just looking at it, it seems like it could maybe be an issue with the theme.
Please let us know!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Past events no longer displaying after updateHey @rogerswd
Thanks for checking over that, so that message struck me as interesting, because I see the same thing when I head to this link: https://madoxswarriors.com/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events
This is one of the endpoints we use for the TEC integration with the REST API, and that should be showing events on that screen. In this case it looks like your site is blocking or messing with that API, which would likely cause the issue you are seeing. When I check one of my own sandboxes with just the 2021 theme and The Events Calendar, I can see past events and navigate back and forth without issue. So whatever is blocking the API on this site is the likely cause of this. Do you have any custom code applied to site anywhere? If not, this could be a problem with your hosting provider.
If you perform another conflict test, the same as you did, and head to that endpoint, does it still show the error message?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Past events no longer displaying after updateHi @rogerswd
Thanks for reaching out to us, I would be happy to try and assist you here. Which very are you referring to exactly, I assume the latest plugin update? What version were you upgrading from?
This could be caused by a number of things, so in cases like these it’s best to start with a Conflict Test so that you can see if another plugin or a setting might be affecting this. Please take a look at this guide and then give that a try when you can. You’ll essentially want to disable all other plugins, and switch to a default theme like 2021 and see if the issue is still occurring or goes away.
Please also note that I mentioned Twenty Twenty One, since our plugins are not fully ready for FSE themes like 2023 and 2024 yet, so we recommend against using them for tests.
Please let me know!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Go into empty event monthsHi there,
If you are looking at the Month View, you should still be able to use the datepicker to select any Month during the year. You are correct that you can’t typically use the Forward and Backward arrows if there are no events for that month, but I checked and the datepicker still lets me pick any month I would like. Please let me know if that works for you.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Category page doesn’t display Title and ImageHi there,
Sorry about the trouble you are having here, did you mean to mark this as resolved?
I would suggest testing against your theme, try temporarily changing to a default theme like 2021 to see if that makes a difference. I haven’t really seen any other reports of an issue like this, so the most likely scenario is some type of conflict: Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins | Knowledgebase
Do you have any custom code on the site or has your theme been customized? I would start by looking at that.
Hi @maximumrizz
Thanks for getting back to me, this is really interesting I would not think an Expired license is suddenly going to remove this, it usually just means you can’t update it.
It sort of looks to me like Tickets were created in one E-Commerce solution and then it was disabled and you changed to another? Can you try disabling Tickets Commerce if that was not even enabled before? I believe when that is enabled, Event Tickets will default to that so that could be hiding your WooCommerce tickets.
As for the Ticket block shortcode, that is meant to display a set of tickets statically, it will not automatically change to anything if the event is over.I would try disabling Tickets Commerce first and then see if that brings things back.
Hi @maximumrizz
Sorry to hear about the trouble you had with this, that is actually quite odd as the site should not be acting this way even if the licenses have expired. Were you planning on renewing the license at all? There are definitely some features you would not be able to keep using, were all of the tickets creating with WooCommerce?
If you were planning to renew and have, you can submit a ticket here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/
One thing I might try is to enable Tickets Commerce, create a test ticket under that and see if that shows up on the front end. Please let me know!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] I cannot connect stripeHi @salamat78,
Sorry about the trouble you had here, this was actually a little bug that we fixed just today, I do not believe there was actually a plugin update. You can go ahead and refresh everything and try to set up the connection again and it should work.
Please let me know if you are still having trouble with this after.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar Not Showing with Extra ThemeHi Tony,
Hmm, that is not quite the response I was expecting from Elegant Themes, we have a TEC integration with Divi and they usually work with us on these things, but our Support Policy is somewhat the same, we cannot really provide Support for their Theme blocking the calendar on that page. And if you changed themes, the Extra theme does sound like its the culprit.
I am not even sure which settings they are talking about, so can you share your System Information with me here? Sharing Your System Information
You may also want to take a look at this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/divi-theme/ It has some settings you might be able to tweak, but I also wonder if adding the “Divi Events Calendar Plugin” might help the issue here.
But once I can see your system info I can get a better idea of the site.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar Not Showing with Extra ThemeHi there @tmalonemktg
Sorry about the trouble you are having here, it sounds like you may have already tested this with another theme to check? Did you try quickly changing to a default theme like 2021 to see if it would show up? This should not interrupt much and you can change back without any adverse affect.
If it is the theme keeping it from showing, usually the Theme Developers will need to look at it actually, I’m surprised because usually Elegant Themes will work with us on these things.
I think testing for Conflicts is the first thing you should try, but if you have already done that can you explain what got the calendar to show up?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Events page list orderThanks for getting back to me on this, although this is not a common problem, most often it is caused by conflicts so that is why we prefer to have you check that first. This issue isn’t really occurring on any of our test sites or installs.
Would you be able to share your system information with me? Sharing Your System Information
I also tried to navigate to the link you shared but it doesn’t seem to be sending me to a working page, is there any way that I can see that myself?
