In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Question on tribe_events categories main categoriesHi there,
So I think I am understand this correctly, you are trying to set up an Event as a post, and you are asking if you need to use post the Post categories and the Event categories?
If you create an event as a post, it will use the same post categories, vs creating the event as normal as an event, that uses a different set of categories.
If I am not understanding this correctly, please let me know and I can continue to assist!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Tickets Plus: Registration without Email?Ah I see what it is, so Individual Attendee Collection is not available with RSVPs, only Tickets.
So you will not be able to disable the email and name requirements for the RSVP without customizing some templates and or code, so you can take a look at our guide for that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/customizing-template-files-2/
The files for RSVPs and Tickets: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/ticket-rsvp-template-files/
Although an easier way would probably just be to create a free ticket!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Tickets Plus: Registration without Email?Hi there again,
So there is also a per ticket setting for this as well, can you check the ticket itself to make sure that the same setting is set to “None” or “Allow”?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Tickets Plus: Registration without Email?Hi there,
I would be happy to answer this for you, all you need to do is to set “Individual Attendee Collection” to “None” or “Allow.” There is a setting for this under Events > Settings > Tickets, as well as a per ticket setting.
You can read more about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/collecting-attendee-information/
As well, if you are a premium license holder, you have access to premium support and we ask that you submit a ticket here if you have any other issues : https://theeventscalendar.com/support/#contact

It seems like this site does not have The Events Calendar still installed on it, is that correct? Are you still having trouble with this issue?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Publishing an event automaticallyHi there!
I would be happy to assist you with this! If you take a look at this webpage: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/managing-community-events-submissions/ It refers to settings for Community Events, you’ll want to change the setting called “Default status for submitted events” to “Published.”
If you did purchase Community Events, you do have access to premium support, so if this issue still persists, or you need help with something else, please feel submit a ticket here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/#contact
I hope that helps!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Dates conflictsHey there,
I’m sorry that you’re still facing this issue, and even with the free version of The Events Calendar you should still be able to update that version if you want to in the future, the current version is 5.6.
For removing the Google Map, this forum post has a pretty good explanation on how to do that: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/remove-google-maps-display-option/

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Dates conflictsHey again,
That’s no problem no need to apologize, I think I understand what is happening.
Can you let me know what your timezone and date settings look like? Maybe with a screenshot? I can try to reproduce this, but I also would ask you to test for conflicts first because this sounds like it could be a possible conflict somewhere

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Dates conflictsHi there,
I’m not quite sure what the issue you are having is, could you please elaborate a little more? It sounds like you are unable to edit the dates for events after you create them? This could be conflict possibly.
You can follow this article here to test for them: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Bad gateway error when updatingHi there,
It seems like that link is working fine from the front end, can you confirm that there is still an issue in the backend?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Event Widget – Limit to featured events onlyHey there,
Apologies for the issue you are having, I’m not quite sure why that would be the case. I had to double check over the settings available for that widget, and it should definitely be able to do that.
So would you mind testing for conflicts on your site? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/
That might be able to tell you if something is causing it, it could possibly have to do with some styling or a setting maybe?
