In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Can’t set event date older than 5 yearsHi there,
Sorry about the trouble you are having here, however I would like to clarify something, are you trying to edit events that are already created to change their start dates to a different date? On my own Test Sandboxes I am able to select any date I want really when creating an Event.
Or are you trying to display older events in the calendar?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Adding link to pdf calendar on Calendar pageHi there,
At this time, this is not something that is a built in feature. And altering the slug really wouldn’t add any kind of link to the calendar page. You will likely need to look into adding some kind of PDF image on your end, because this does fall under Customizations.
We have a Customization guide here: Customizing The Events Calendar – Knowledgebase | The Events Calendar
As well as a link to our partners at Codeable: Can I Hire Your Team to Customize My Calendar? | Knowledgebase | The Events Calendar
I would maybe suggest also submitting this as a user Idea here: Ideas

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Latest event show on topHi there,
The event order you are describing is the default behavior, the calendar is meant to show events in the order that they occur.
If you want to alter this, you are going to have to add some kind of custom code, and while we don’t have an outright solution for that, you can take a look at this guide and possibly adapt this snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/order-events-in-main-blog-loop-by-post-date/

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Image and text display problem related to the extensionHi there,
Sorry about the trouble you are having here, which extension exactly are you referring to? Or are you referring to one of our full Plugins?
The header bit is definitely odd, but I would say that its likely more of a theme issue to start. I would give conflict testing a try first: Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins | Knowledgebase

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] List view and Grid view category confusionHi there,
Sorry about the trouble you are having here, I would be happy to try and assist you. Are you using any of our Shortcodes for widgets to try to add this? You would only have access to the one if you do not have Events Calendar Pro.
Or are you using the Shortcode and Block plugin? That is actually a third party plugin, so its sort of not something we totally support, but its possible that could be where the issue is stemming from.
Really I would need to see some screenshots on how exactly you have this set up in the backend.

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Season Ticket?Hi there,
At this time there really is not a way to create a “Season Ticket”, unless you were to just label it as a such and then honor the ticket at each event. However there is not really a way to set it up so the code works across all of events. If you wanted to look into it, it might be possible to do with customizations: Can I Hire Your Team to Customize My Calendar? | Knowledgebase | The Events Calendar

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Ticketed / Unticketed totals incorrectHi there,
Thanks for testing that and getting back to me, that is really odd, because I am not seeing this behavior at all. Did you try creating an Event while the other plugins were disabled and adding tickets to see if that allowed it to show?
Do you possibly have this site set up on any kind of Staging platform? If you did, I could login to it and take a look, but I would need you to reach out via email: truman @ theeventscalendar.com

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] Ticketed / Unticketed totals incorrectHi there,
Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having, that is definitely odd and should not be happening. When I checked on my own Test site with TEC and Event Tickets, I am not seeing this behavior.
You may be experiencing a conflict with another plugin possibly, I would go ahead and try testing for that to see: Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins | Knowledgebase
You’ll want to disable all other plugins and revert to a default theme like 2021 temporarily to see if that resolves the issue. Can you let me know what you find by doing that?

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] WooCommerce – enable Tickets Commerce too?Hi there,
If you are using WooCommerce you should turn Tickets Commerce off. Also if you do have Event Tickets Plus, you can get premium support by submitting here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/
Hi @mediarchive
Sorry about the trouble you are having here. So the cart and checkout are setup with WooCommerce correct? You may want to check your permalinks, and also make sure that your Attendee Registration setup looks good. Do you have a link to this workflow so I can run through it and check it?

Hi @mediarchive
If the checkbox is not appearing on the registration form, its likely because the setup in the backend is missing one or more lines under “Options”, if you have a checkbox you need to fill at least one line under that for it to show on the form.
Have you checked that portion of the setup?

In reply to: [Event Tickets and Registration] no cost ticketsHi @irishblake
Yes we have a few guides on setting up WooCommerce: https://theeventscalendar.com/blog/tips/how-to-use-woocommerce-with-the-events-calendar-plugins/
https://theeventscalendar.com/blog/learning/how-to-integrate-woocommerce-with-event-tickets-plus-for-effortless-event-registration/
You can follow these guides and once WooCommerce is setup all you need to do is make the ticket a $0 price.
