In reply to: [Black Studio TinyMCE Widget] All widget data lost when plugin deactivatedI have no idea what caused it, but I’ve discovered it also happened to widgets created by a different plugin.
I appreciate the tip about importing the database file into a new db to be able to get the data without all the escape characters. That should save me some time for sure, so thanks!

In reply to: [Black Studio TinyMCE Widget] All widget data lost when plugin deactivatedI also lost all the widgets I created with this plugin after deactivating/reactivating. I have a database backup so can recover the information, although that’s not really that easy because of all the escape characters in the SQL. But it’s better than nothing.
So I’m just posting to confirm the same behavior as the OP.

In reply to: Shortcodes in Text Widgets BrokenYes, it is outside the loop. But it was working fine for months so I’m not sure what changed.

In reply to: [Content Cards] Fatal ErrorOh, thanks.
You know, I saw that and thought it was a built-in WP button!

In reply to: [Content Cards] Fatal ErrorYes, it’s working great, thanks!
FYI, though, I don’t have a CC button appear in the visual editor. I prefer using the shortcode in the text editor anyway, but thought you’d want to know.
Well, whatever it was, it’s now working correctly. I did have a Windows update so maybe something in that fixed it.
Thanks to everyone for your suggestions and for sharing your experiences!

In reply to: [Point] my ads don't showIt looks like your site is really new and it can take Google a while to find relevant ads, so that may be the problem. One thing you can do to test this is to change the Backup Ad for your ad units from “Blank” to a solid color. That should show you if the code is working properly and, if it is, you might just need to wait a little longer.

It’s weird because when other people have pinned pages from my site, it shows the title (not og:title) in the pin. I’m not sure why that is.
Anyway, that link you sent me is very helpful. First, I didn’t know you could create rich pins at all, so I’ve set that up now so they will look better in general. And second, they will now include both the title and the description in the pin, so that solves my original problem.
Thanks for the help!

In reply to: [WordPress Simple Shopping Cart] Add to Cart Button Not Going to Cart PageYes, that worked, thank you.
I didn’t enter that in the settings before because I don’t consider the Shopping Cart page to be the same as the Checkout page. I thought if I checked that option, each time I added a product I would be taken directly to PayPal to check out, not to the shopping cart.
