If you upgraded to version 4.0 then those files got replaced by the new framework.
The wordpress native upgrade process should have removed those old files and installed the new ones. Maybe you have permission issues in your plugins directory?!

Best solution is just to delete the plugin and install the new version. Keep the widget in place, when new version is installed widget should be replicated.

Facebook Comments is not dependent of your profile or page.
When someone posts a comment, this comment will show on your blog page and it will be shared in that facebook user profile…. all is friends will see it and links back to your website ??

Now if you have a facebook application, (ID) optional… then the comment will show up in the application page, your blog page and the user profile that did the comment…. viral to the max.

The facebook user ID is used for moderation, but you need an app id for it to work, the moderation tools are integrated into facebook applications.

We just tested the upgrade process, went fine and admin page shows up has it should.
Could be your plugins folder permissions, wordpress updater not able to delete old files and install new ones… if that’s the case it would affect all plugins.

Just install spam-master, select the free version protection and hit save settings.
The free version will protect you from hotmail, msn, live and outlook. 4 threats.

You don’t need to unistall the other plugins.
Just deactivate S2member, spam-master works well with SI Captcha.

Spam-Master will block those 4 threats, but all other spam domains will pass. You will still notice a huge improvement just by being protected from hotmail crap.

Very strange that, unlike a normal user you don’t want friendly support. There is no support ticket in our website from you, and not once you mentioned that you need help fixing stuff. Normal users don’t behave like this.

Of course you can comments on posts, if you publish the widget if the footer area of the website the link that facebook sees is the post link, each post page can have the same widget in the footer or sidebar and it will parse and separate different links on facebook.

Also, you can always ask us for help instead of doing a bad rating with inappropriate remarks. But I guess this is the internet world we have, everything is acceptable behind a computer screen.

It works fine you just need to upgrade to the advanced version instead of the lite version.

We are running WP latest version.
Under the impression that since php.ini is website server configuration, wordpress only reports what is set there.

Our WP_DEBUG is obviously ON in our development wordpress installation but the php.ini error_reportin is not showing strict standards.

Yes, that can be forced by adding:
locale=pt_BR

Should work fine.
The language settings are passed by the browser to facebook, and facebook displays it accordingly. Maybe your browser language is set to english.
