I found a way to change the teal green color in the search box. Go to your Dashboard, and click on Appearance. Then click on Customize. Then click on Colors, and now you should see the teal green color (#1abc9c) being used as the Accent color. Click Select Color, and then you should be able to select a color or enter in your own color code. That should do the trick.
