Indeed tallyhojack, have been digging deeper too and 123reg finally said it was a technical fault on their end that caused their servers to revert to older versions… Unfortunately they don’t hold backups so can’t revert to last nights version, so have to do everything again! ??

Oh well, teaches me to make a backup of the site straightaway whenever I make a lot of changes and not wait until the next day.

Assuming your theme has an sidebar, you would normally go to widgets under the Appearance tab, and place a normal Text widget into the sidebar and place the img src code in there.

Text widgets take HTML and Javascript as well as… you guessed it… normal text ??

Interestingly, my host is 123-reg.co.uk too… Maybe they did do something and didn’t tell their customer support staff ??
