Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: OracleJDK | OpenJDKThanks for your quick reply.
One further question.Do you know if Oracle plans to charge any fees for the “normal” Java addon for webbrowsers in future?
If yes are there any alternatives?
Thanks for your efforts in advance.
Best regards,
Yeah same problem here. Especially with news.google feeds. I am still using version 3.1.12. Later versions up to 3.3.0 won’t fetch the pictures at all and will show some white placeholders.
Please fix this.
The feeds are really important for my website.
Cheers
It seems that WaPo has some issues with their cookie consent, because every time I visit the feedlink in the browser, I don’t get the feed instead WaPo redirects me first to a link where I have to comply to their cookie policies. When I comply to their policy, Wapo redirects me to the actually feed.
?? GDPR makes everything so complicated

Yeah that’s exactly I want to know also.Hi again,
as I mentioned above. I setted up a fresh WordPress installation with only one plugin running (Feedzy RSS). The Theme is the standard WordPress Twentyseventeen and I am still getting no image.

I tried out your widget and the shortcode method on a site, but still no luck.
Thanks.
Before I forget,
this is the second time I’ve got trouble with google news pictures.I already posted here in the support forum a while back and you guys fixed the issue flawlessy within a day with version 3.0.5 (Changelog).
Thanks for your help.
Hi again,
I’ve just tried the transient cleaner plugin and cleared all the caches, but still no luck with google news.I also tried the actual Feedzy plugin (3.1.6) in a fresh WordPress installation (Version 4.7.5 with PHP 7.1.4) (RSS-LinK:https://news.google.com/news?cf=all&hl=en&ned=en_ng&topic=af&output=rss). Still no luck ??
Am I doing something wrong. The funny thing is that with version 3.1.1 it works just fine.
I hope somebody can help.
Cheers
Hey again.
Yesterday I downgraded the Feedzy Version from a backup to 3.1.1.
So you can’t see the error on the website anymore. But the problem is still there. I tested the 3.1.5 version locally and it seems that the error with the missing images in google news feeds is still present.
Thanks
Hi again.
The website ist https://www.stradeco.com.
The Google Feeds are in the middel of page on the left side. Thanks
BTW,
Are your plugins free for commercial use?
Everythings working fine for me now…
You guys are awesome.
Thank a lot for the immediate help
Wow that was very fast.
You guys rock.
Everything is working fine for me now, except Google News RSS Feeds.
The Plugin only fetches blank (invisible) images. Not your integrated placeholder image just invisible ones.
In 2.8.1 it is just fine. Thanks a lot for the immediate help

Is it safe for me to stay on version 2.8.1 and wait until you guys hopefully have fixed the problem ?
Thanks in Advance
