NextGen Gallery does not work with WP 3.4 even using the WP default theme (Twenty Eleven).

Upon installation and activation of NextGen, the following error appears in WP Admin…

Undefined index: wpmuStyle in /home/mysite/public_html/mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/admin/admin.php on line 525

I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling NextGen with no success.

I have networked disabled Contact Form 7. This did not resolve the errors.

I have updated ngg-config.php with the require_once( WP_LOAD_PATH . ‘wp-admin/admin.php’); code. This did not resolve the errors.

I’m having issues with NextGen Gallery, with our without slideshow setting.

My error occurs when attempting to upload images (Flash and Non-Flash options). The error after uploading an image prevents me from seeing the Admin screens. I have to manually go back to /wp-admin/ in order to continue working.

I am able to get images and galleries to appear on the pages, but the NextGen error makes this process very slow and difficult with WP 3.4

No, I have not found another gallery that works with WP 3.4x
I keep checking www.ads-software.com to see if a new version compatible with 3.4 has been added, but nothing yet. Seems that they’re waiting for lots of people to submit issues before modifying any code.

Through trial and error I have discovered that even though errors are displayed in WP-Admin, and that errors occur when attempting to upload images into a gallery, I am able to get the images to appear on the site.

The only issue being when an image is uploaded an error is displayed forcing me to manually go back to the /wp-admin/ directory in the browser.

Needless to say uploading dozens of images requires this process to be repeated dozens of times.

I will continue to wait for the next version of NextGen Gallery to be made available.
