I tried your suggestion and inserted that code into ‘The Loop’ of my index.php. But now there are two author names, one leading to the archive and the other to the about page

Anyone know how to point the author name to the about page?

If I wanted to put up google search instead, how would I go about doing that? setting it up in the nav bar I mean

Code monkey is just a variation on thematic. The framework is the same. In fact, the only differences are the header graphic, colors on the page and the width of the contents.

I only have 2 active plugins currently – akismet and vivacarousel. I deactivated them both and it still shows up the same.

If you look in thematic’s style css (which is the same as Code MOneky’s style css – except for some margins and colors), the part dealing with the nav bar display is under ‘menu’. Do you think any changes should be made there?

Right, sorry, thats what I meant. I want a search form in my nav bar.

How do I do that?

I am having trouble with my nav bar also. Can’t get a search bar into it.

Yeah I thought about that, but I wanted to have the convenience of having a search tab directly in the nav bar. Rather than clicking to a page specifically set aside for the searchform.

Anyone know how to do this?
