Not going to lie, this thing was written so badly, look around for other plugins.

Since I use textile for all my markup now-a-days you are not going to see an update for this.

Ryuuketsu, I don’t know what you exactly mean, you can have unlimited tags (although tbh this parser is pretty bad so you may not want to do more than say 20, I’ve found ways with more advanced regex to parser basically unlimited without any speed decrease).

Thanks A12Alex. I updated it to 2.7.0 compatibility thanks to an email with the updated php file.

//edit, it only works if you have the plugin that turns your quotes into the directional quotes off, I’ll try edit it so it can handle directional quotes later on. [image <1> "<2>"] -> <img src="[1]" title="[2]" alt="[2]" /> is the basic mark up.

(sorry viper, I’m not trying to not compete with your plugin I didn’t even realize it existed till I tried to add mine).

Don’t use that version (sorry I didn’t see this earlier the Internets kinda big) use the plugin below (that one in the link above was made before auto update and shares names with the “bbcode” plugin):
