In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp Top Bar] Top Bar Plugin will not activateI uploaded an info.php file to the public_html folder and yes you are correct, it was an older version of PHP.
Not sure why the cPanel would show other wise though, so I’ll take it up with the hosting service. Thanks for your help with this! ??
Cheers

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp Top Bar] Top Bar Plugin will not activateI checked in the cpanel of the hosting account.
However, I did upload the plugin you provided, but the activation failed.
I received this error:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home1/shiftfin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-php-info/includes/classes/phpinfo-page.php on line 15”I am unable to upload a screen shot here.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Separate forms to separate Mailchimp listsThanks Harish,
This does work, but it only passes the email address and not the first or last name. I had this issue before but enabling user sync seemed to fix this.
The question is why do these user input values not get passed in the first place? They are default values as per MC and should be passed without using sync, yes?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Separate forms to separate Mailchimp listsHmmmm…
Ok so after looking at those code examples, I’m a bit confused. In the first one, what exactly is the “interest’ referring to? A particular field I assume? Still, how does it know which list to send it to?
Going back over the user experience on the site, I know believe this step (adding user first and last name, and email to MC) will only occur after purchase has been made on checkout page.
When someone purchases Product A then their name(s) and email are added to List A….Product B => List B….and so on.I don’t see where I can assign a product to it’s list.

In reply to: [Registration Options for BuddyPress] Change ‘From’ WordPress@ in emailsThanks so much for your help, Michael.
Cheers!
I am kinda curious though how you would know to which account I was referring to here when I didn’t even mention the ID#?
That aside, you did not address my statement:
“no obvious link or location to receive this ‘priority support’.”We did receive an email from a Franco supplying a gmail (which I will not include here, as that would be bad form) but after repeated attempts, he has not responded.
I fully understand that this forum is not for support, but I believe information like this is very relevant to a product review.
Now please, prove me wrong, show some solid support without excuses.
Cheers

In reply to: Site content not displayingOk then just to confirm:
1. in File Manager (host) copy Deep Focus into a new folder ‘Deep Focus 1’
2. then, through WP, download updated version of theme and activate3. if this doesn’t work, can I just dump the new version from the file manager and re name Deep Focus 1 back to Deep Focus?

In reply to: Site content not displayingI’m a little hesitant to try that because it will be the updated version of the theme. The warning states that any customizing will be lost, and I’m not sure to what extent ‘customizing’ covers as I have done some minor alterations.
What puzzles me the most is that everything was working just fine when I originally moved it.
