In reply to: [The Events Calendar: Category Colors] Colors not savinfI still have this problem. Is it really resolved? I am hosted on WPEngine and it keeps the plugins up to date so reverting is a bit of a problem.
Health Check and Troubleshooting was very helpful. I found that the problem was with the theme’s pro settings which were overriding the featured image cropped size locally. I was able to make the height automatic and the width the correct featured image size and it’s better but not perfect. It’s not Jetpack’s fault. Thank you.
I found this support post and turned off lazy loading, but it doesn’t help. https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/jetpack-site-accelerator-prevents-featured-image-from-loading/

In reply to: WP_Mail Settings or a Hybrid PluginI’m having the same problem, but only with mail going to one server. It just disappears. I’ve added WP Mail Form II and configured it with my own name and email address but it hasn’t helped. Password resets aren’t delivered from the wp-login.php?action=lostpassword screen or from wp-members.

In reply to: [font-resizer] Script blocked by Mod SecurityEasy fix. Change the script name to jquery-cookie.js and the two references to it in font-resizer.php. It’s a known issue that Mod Security blocks .cookie.

In reply to: [Search Everything] TranslationsHi,
I’m using a Google language translator plugin to make my site available in multiple languages. It does not appear that this search plugin searches the translation for a translated word. For example, I can find “health” translated into Spanish but not “salud”. Is there another way to do this? Thanks!
Pam
I went back to 2.6 and everything is working fine now. Whew! Looking forward to 2.8.
Wow, it strips it out here too!
What I have found is that if you use &-#34-; it’s fine until you edit the gallery again, then it reverts to \”. If you use &-quot-; it’s fine until you edit the gallery then it turns into a space.
Into which php file did you add the stripslashes function? What I have found is that if you use " it’s fine until you edit the gallery again, then it reverts to \”. If you use " it’s fine until you edit the gallery then it becomes a space.
Thanks.

In reply to: “The requested theme does not exist.”I have created a theme and everything works. I can FTP new files in and they write the pages correctly. The blog pages work. The theme appears in Appearances>Themes. I can edit the Pages and publish them.
In the Theme Editor, when I go to update any file, I get the message “The requested theme does not exist.”
My style.css has a proper header according to the samples but the entire comment appears in the Appearance>Theme listing three times. If I delete everything except for the Theme Name (my name, description, url, etc) then I can update all of the files and there are no problems.
