Same issues here with automatic upgrade using BlueHost. First, no posts on frontpage. Reinstalled, front page looked fine after I went to default theme but when I clicked on links to pages or any post, got 404 on every link. Can still get into admin page but it seems that after three installs there is something always wrong. is a manual install the only choice left? Even if, some people are still complaining of bad installs like this.

Is that just folders an files with “wp” preceding them or EVERYTHING in the public_html folder except those you mention? Or in other words, is there a list of WordPress files on the forum so I know to delete the right ones?

New posts also have this error but old posts (pre-upgrade) are fine.
