    I wish I could do that, although Block themes do not have menus in the classic sense. There’s an option to add back the old ones but you must switch to a classic theme in order to manage them.

    I mean, in a classic theme I can build and configure a menu from the appearance section; in the new ones I can only install the Classic Menu Block and use it to select an old menu, but I can’t change it in any way unless I change theme (which means that if the old editor becomes unavailable, I am stuck with a menu that I cannot edit anymore).

    And I have tried to add the shortcode to my header, but it only displays the dropdown version, not the two buttons which I prefer.

    Have you checked Polylang? It can work with multiple languages, although in comparison to TranslatePress it leaves out some content (widget titles etc).
