Thank you Peter for your kind support.
Actually, I am not that techie. Do you think re-installing the plugin would help? If that can help, I will do it right away.
Thanks Peter
Thank you Peter for your very kind explanations.
I really appreciate them. They are even more thorough than what I receive from some premium support.
My best regards

In reply to: [LiteSpeed Cache] Latest Update not working well with Elementor on EdgeSorry for being not clear enough.
I mean, after I installed the 3.6.2 update, as a normal user of the site, I opened it on Edge, Safari (Apple Iphone), Google and found out that:
– the site worked normally on Google Chrome
– the site worked on Edge and Safari, but some design elements (built on Elementor) and their associated functions refused to work (buttons not working, video player not working).When I reverted the plugin to 3.6.1, everything worked normally. So, I am keeping it at 3.6.1 now.
That’s what happened with my site. I’m not saying your plugin is the culprit. Just raising it up for your consideration.
Thanks

In reply to: Unknown files in wp-includes and wp-adminThanks James.
I have also open a support thread to Wordfence and to WP Downgrade to make sure that is the case.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Unknown files in wp-includes and wp-adminAnd Wordfence should have an update about this. The current version of Wordfence says those files as unknown.

In reply to: Unknown files in wp-includes and wp-adminThanks.
I did not know about those resources (and did not search well enough). It took me a lot of time and sweat to get back to normal.
Thanks for the advice. The resources you show me are very helpful.

Yes. I used WP Downgrader to download it from 5.5 to 5.4.2.

In reply to: [myCred H5P] No notification for H5P points.Hi there,
Update from my side: the extension works perfectly (both hooks). The culprit was my cache plugin. I have tuned it another way and everything works very OK.
So there is nothing you should do to it as regard notification of the given points for H5P content.
Just one piece of idea: it would be much better if the extension could pick the exact points which H5P gives instead of setting a certain amount of points to give when an H5P action is taken.
Anyway, a lot of thanks for our nice Mycred plugin and its H5P extension. That’s still too good for a free gift to us.
Many thanks

In reply to: [myCred H5P] No notification for H5P points.Thank you for your reply.
Just for further information for you:
Of the two hooks you provide with the extension, only the General hook (for any H5P contents) works (without notification as I said); the other hook (for Specific H5P contents) doesn’t work at all.
Could you please also let your team know about this.
Many thanks.
Hi,
I have deactivated the plugin and reactivated it, and it works.
So, I think there is nothing you should do and this is resolved.
Thanks.
Hi,
In the worst case, if I uninstall the plugin, would all the codes be deleted (leaving the contents wrapped inside codes untouched)?
Thanks
Thank you for your response.
I checked it as you said, and it says NO. But that may be because I did not set the extended protection mode. After I set the extended protection mode, it says WAF auto prepend active: YES.
I check the .htaccess file, and now, it has the following added to the very end of the file (even after the WordPress core section):
# Wordfence WAF
<IfModule LiteSpeed>
php_value auto_prepend_file ‘/home3/tiengan3/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’
</IfModule>
<IfModule lsapi_module>
php_value auto_prepend_file ‘/home3/tiengan3/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’
</IfModule>
<Files “.user.ini”>
<IfModule mod_authz_core.c>
Require all denied
</IfModule>
<IfModule !mod_authz_core.c>
Order deny,allow
Deny from all
</IfModule>
</Files># END Wordfence WAF
I also check the file: .user.ini, it has the following (nothing else):
; Wordfence WAF
auto_prepend_file = ‘/*************/public_html/wordfence-waf.php’
; END Wordfence WAFI also check the file: php.ini.bk (I cannot find php.ini), and it is a blank file.
My question is: Is it OK now, and is there anything I need to correct?
Another question:
Under Tools >>> Diagnostics >>> IP Detection, I found:
REMOTE_ADDR: 123.16.120.182 in use
This is not my IP address. Is that a security problem? What should I do?
Many thanks
Thanks.
You’re correct. It was the internet settings. The plugin works very well.
Thanks for your time and a very good plugin.
