Thank you all for your help… It turned out to be user error… this user… The password in the wp-config.php was one character off.

But I have to be honest with you…. I have learned soooooo much during this process and want to thank each one of you for your input.

I’m sure I’ll have more questions because I am going to learn this app if it kills me… well… I’m just sayin’.

    Later folks

    esmi,

I am able to get into my site and I have already updated my siteurl and home using PhpMyAdmin.
I have also updated the wp-config.php file with the information that govpatel suggested and it still s not working.

… I am very new to this… Where exactly would this file be ? I have searched through all the files and do not see it.

Okay… Access to phpMyAdmin was part of my godaddy Hosting…

So I changed the URL exactly the way the instructions said on https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/ to conawayconsulting.com and now I get a HTTP 500 Internal Server Error.

I appreciate any help… This is a learning experience for me and I will continue to educate myself but would appreciate any input.

    Thank you

To be honest with you… I do not know much about this.
The guy who built this Website skipped out on my wifes company and we were just making minor changes here and there.

But once I changed the darn Domain name it now prevents me from getting into WordPress to even make those minor changes. I am not a Website Builder and really do not know how to do what you told me. I read up on the phpMyAdmin but it looks like a foreign language to me. I do not know how to actually start the program or I think I could at least try the instructions you gave me.

Honestly… Do you think changing the Domain name back will let me back into it ?
