In reply to: [Sticky Menu & Sticky Header] left-right horizontal scroll not workingExcellent! You are the best. I will try it out this weekend and let you know. So you saw the problem. Great. When there is a plugin update will custom change be overridden?
Thanks!!Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Sticky Menu & Sticky Header] left-right horizontal scroll not workingThanks Mark for getting right back. I actually do want it sticky…
If I am looking at my site and the page is wider than the view-screen, like on a phone, then the phone (or other) browser allows you to swipe the page left and right to see all the content. When I do that, the content of my page moves left-right as it should but the sticky column-headers do not. Because the page is showing columnar data, I cant float it under the previous column else the rows would not be aligned and therefore useless. So, I need the floating headers to float vertically but be fixed horizontally.
Maybe just a css override that I can apply? I hope I explained it well enough.
Thanks for any suggestions.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: User Role Changes Not Honored in loop.phpI found the general (simple) solution…a plugin called
Member Access
https://www.chrisabernethy.com/wordpress-plugins/member-access/
So, no need to set the page/post as private; just install plugin and check “Ignore the default settings and make this post visible only to members” at the bottom of any page/post edit window.
SOLVED! {simply}

In reply to: User Role Changes Not Honored in loop.phpGreat. Thank you. I actually have already customized a theme based on twentyten but I referenced Twentyten because I have not changed the loops for my customization so folk would be familiar with the Twentyten code.
So, any idea WHICH template file and WHAT custom query I can use?
It looks like only the author can see their own private page/post regardless of role setting so maybe there is a different approach that someone can recommend (short of passwording them) to have pages/posts only viewable if the member is logged in. Ideas?
