Thanks, Adam. Good to know that this was a known issue and that a fix is coming.

How can I know when this fix has been released? I’m running 2.2.0. I suppose I can simply watch to see that number increase. Are there release notes linked on the WP Plugins entry for BLC?

I know it’s a long shot, but if you think of it (and I’m laughing to myself at the audacity of my asking) maybe you can post a note in this thread that it’s been released?! That saves me from having to monitor for a new release and then check for the fix.

In the report, you can see the problem is with our site’s “https://www.[oursite.com]/store” page.

It appears that your software properly handles the redirect on https://www.[oursite.com]/store. That redirect goes to a different domain (our store on Shopify). And it’s proper that you should check to make sure that a redirect points to a valid URL.

But, then you attempt to follow all the relative links in our Shopify store, prepending our site https://www.[oursite.com]/store domain. Those all fail because these relative links are to the Shopify store.

Maybe I’m oversimplifying, but if a redirect goes to a different domain, other than checking that the URL exists, you shouldn’t crawl that other domain.

Or is it just YouTube, Vimeo, etc.

Add CloudFlare to the list of CDNs that BLC seems to have this problem with.

Um, never mind. Seems like CF finally caught up with some configuration changes I made and all is well! ??

PS What happened: we had some cross-site links between our two sites and had turned on CloudFlare’s Hotlink Protection to protect our images from off-site linking. When we the protection Off again and the false positives from BLC went away.

Unfortunately, I never got an answer to fixing this.

So we STILL have no tools menu.

Hopefully someone reading this rejuvenated thread will help out.
