In reply to: Changing from Weebly to WordPressThe webpage from just the domain is actually a under construction page that has been loaded onto the Hostgator hosting, i doubt it would be weebly as they don’t let you transfer from their builder… regardless, you will need to update the site url and WordPress url in the dashboard to https://www.startliftingnow.com. Next you will need to connect through ftp to your hosting account or access the online file manager and move all your WordPress files to the root folder of your hosting from mysite. The root is typically public_html.

In reply to: my new page content is not showingHello,
I would recommend first trying to toggle the permalinks – Go to your admin dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks and switch it to any other option and hit save. Then in permalinks again, switch it back to your original option and hit save again. Check to see if the page displays.
If this does not work try going into your page and renaming the permalink for it. This is located in the Edit Page screen just underneith the page name. You can click edit and change the /pagename/ area. See if the page will display after updating its own permalink as well.

In reply to: Please Help!!! Navigation Bar…Hello!
You will need to modify the code of the theme files, such as style.css to make the above changes. Otherwise you can pick a new theme online that fits your options a bit better. If you are not comfortable modifying the code I would definitely recommend picking a theme that better suits the style you are looking for!

In reply to: jetpack fatal errorHello,
First I would recommend double checking that the files it is mentioning there in the errors exist on your hosting plan, go into your file manager on your plesk control panel and browse to those directories looking for require-lib.php and jetpack.php
Check the permissions on the directories / files to make sure they are accessible for your website.
You may try disabling your jetpack plugin and reinstalling it to see if that helps. You can do this by going into your file manager browsing to wp-content/plugins and renaming the jetpack folder to jetpack-old. This should give you access to your site and admin panel again.
Then try to search for jetpack if you do need it via the plugins menu and click install.

In reply to: Add Meta Description via Yoast SEO Plugin?Hello,
Personally I use All in One SEO Pack – this allows you to change the meta description of the homepage.
Some themes also have a setting in the theme options where you can change the homepage meta tags.
I have heard of Yoast, but not used it myself so I am not sure about an option in that plugin, however if you want to switch to the all in one SEO pack, I know you can do it there.

In reply to: Need WordPress to Unlock Admin DashboardTerri,
The only way to look into fixing or getting the dashboard back up is to log into the hosting and either disable whats giving the error or fix the actual error itself.
www.ads-software.com doesn’t ‘run’ or ‘host’ your site and site files, they simply made the software that allows you to run the website. This is why they cannot unlock your site at all.
I see this with web developers unfortunately from time to time. Do you have access to any backups of your site to try and restore your website with another hosting company?
If you do I would try and purchase hosting and restore your site from a backup. Otherwise it sounds like your a little stuck until you can get the information from your developer.
Best of luck!

In reply to: 500 Internal Server ErrorTarifa,
In addition one of the first things I would check from my experience is what is called the .htaccess file. You will want to log into your hosting provider as esmi suggested and rename this file to disable.htaccess file.
Next try and load your site after renaming that file(if it exists on your account).
If it worked, great! leave everything as is and get back to work on your site!
Otherwise go ahead and rename the file back to .htaccess.
I have seen plugins mess up this file several times so that is the first place I recommend on checking.

In reply to: What is the easiest way to import WordPress?Hi Ripjaws,
I am not familiar with a plugin to do so however you could backup your database through phpMyAdmin, exporting it to your computer and modifying the local export to only keep the tables you want. After which you can import the table(s) to the new database. I recommend checking with your hosting provider for how to access phpMyAdmin if possible.

In reply to: WordPress Faceboor Publish Plugin. The Post appears only to me!Hi edrizo,
I would try to disconnect the plugin from the Facebook account and reconnect it. Most times when you connect a plugin to facebook there is an option at the sign in page that says who can view posts made. It is usually when you are accepting the permissions for the app to connect with facebook. Double check when you reconnect your plugin that it is set to Public instead of Only Me.

In reply to: Home button on the header@jan Dembowski, I apologize I will not do that again. I was unaware but have read the article you linked, thank you for giving me the warning.
@It1954: The database is where settings, posts, page content and most of your site data is stored. You may be able to find the improper link redirection somewhere in the database.
You may want to have a developer take a look at it, it is most likely not going to be in a php or a css file.

In reply to: Home button on the headerI am not able to get the unable to reload page error, however I am able to see that clicking to the home link from the about us page just appears to reload the same page. Upon reviewing the link structure it appears the home link in the navigation from the about us page appears as such: https://hisloveendures.com/page/about-us/index.php. Your actual home page seems to load up from https://hisloveendures.com/page/index.php if you manually type it in.
This same issue happens on all of the pages, they redirect under this same scheme – https://hisloveendures.com/page/*pagenameyouron*/index.php. They should be redirecting without *pagenameyouron*.
This could be a problem with structure saved in the database or the .htaccess file rewrite rules.
Are you able to post your .htaccess file code (assuming you are on a linux hosting) and provide a copy of your database for me to look at?

In reply to: Problem with my domainSenff is correct, you may have purchased hosting and typed your domain in while setting up the hosting but you will need to buy the domain and contact your hosting provider for the proper information to link your domain to the hosting.

In reply to: Full Page Width Size Changed?Hi Bruce,
I have used divi previously, i know the custom page builder has layouts and some of those layouts do not apply the full page width. For example the included home page simple layout will not apply to the full page width. Try saving and backing up your layout then apply a few different included layouts like homepage, and post your results.

In reply to: Home button on the headerHello,
I am not able to duplicate the issue, however when i click home i do not get redirected at all. First i would double check on your end what is happening after clearing the cache and cookies out of your browser.
Next i would check under appearance > menu to see if the home menu link is being specified there. If so verify its correct.
I have also seen the menu controls under theme options. What theme are you using?
