In my case I have a WP network site with about 100+ sites, users were going from site to site and were commenting as the last person that was previously commenting. It’s a mix of custom urls, subdomains, and subdirectorys, ie. https://www.example.com & images.example.com & https://www.example.com/images/ would be three different sites.

If you give me a heads up on how comments should be pulling the user information I can try to investigate further on my end.

I should say, we’ve been struggling with the “invalid nonce” for a while now when going from site to site, that’s why I’m suspicious of what’s going on.

Thanks Stefan, but feedzy is the only plugin active and the thumbnail is removed from the local feed when feedzy is disabled.

right now the site in question has a work flow of posts that are being worked on being set to “draft” and posts that are pending approval are set to “pending”. Both of these statuses are default for WP.

You can use https://developer.www.ads-software.com/reference/functions/get_post_statuses/ to list all the statuses that are registered for the site.

That appears to be a premium plugin to restore default WP behavior for a single site? I’m running a WP network with hundreds of subsites, so this is obviously not going to work for me.

Those table names dont’ seem to line up with what the plugin actually does, what are the “messages” and “conversations” for?

What changes is this plugin doing to the database schema?

I would love to see this option!

Thanks for the confirmation, it would be great if the attachments were updated with the post ID.

Are those settings set in a single serialized wp_options entry? I might just let it activate like normal, then hook into the activation with an update of the plugin options?

You’ll find it in the “links” section of your dashboard, if you don’t have it you’ll want to google how to add it back

@joneiseman better to not publish the key on the frontend of a website.

I’m sure you’ll be getting an email too if you’re doing it as well.
