Where these posts or pages are actually showing? On archive page or navigation?
If you can put screenshot or link to that it would be better to understand.
To delete those pages get into WordPress Dashboard>Posts>All Posts then “tick” the pages you need to remove. Then select Bulk Action and select “Move to Trash” from the dropdown.

In this, you have to go Dashboard>Appearance>Widget
Then find out “Newest Post” widget. You will find out options to make changes there.Thanks.

In reply to: Necessary course of action?Easiest solution is, You should use “Add-on Domain” feature from your cPanel. After adding domain using this feature you will have a New Folder in your file manager.
You can use same database for 2 domains using Multi-site features. But it will be good to make 2 databases.
