Not sure what those errors are but I installed and ran the ‘Auto Post Thumbnail’ plugin when my homepage thumbs were not being generated (while the post page were). That worked for me.

I’ve used that one and currently using an “auto featured image” plugin that will set the first image in a post as the featured image. Unfortunately, it seems to only work on images in the media library versus those linked from another server. My idea was to have this wpematico cache the images and then the featured image plugin would likely work.

Looks like your narfed your uploader. Did you change out your upload functions with an upload replacement plugin lately? I’d check that.

It’s a fairly new install of WP and the only plugin I’ve installed that might have effected upload would be “image pro” which allowed drag and drop image placement to post edits from the desktop. Though, it was just a plugin that, as far as I can tell, didn’t overwrite the current function. It didn’t seem quite ready for prime time, though, so I uninstalled it. Any idea of how I might be able to restore that service, if it is indeed narfed? Manual uploading works great, fwiw.
