In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] IPTC Mapping on Upload Incompatible With Smush ProAwesome work, David!
I can confirm MLA is now working as expected with Smush and Elementor installed.
Thanks for your help and continued support for this wonderful plugin!

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] IPTC Mapping on Upload Incompatible With Smush ProI’ve made some progress in recreating the issue. I pulled a local copy of the site and started playing with different plugin combinations.
First I tried uninstalling the pro version of Smush and using the free version instead. The free version still had the same problem, unlike for you, so clearly something else in my setup was contributing to the issue.
Next, I tried disabling other plugins to see if it started working again with Smush enabled. Turns out, Elementor is also involved. After disabling Elementor, MLA was able to import metadata automatically on image upload, even with Smush enabled. I tested with the free and pro versions of Elementor, which makes no difference.
So this looks to be more than just a Smush problem. I’ve never had any problems running Smush and Elementor at the same time before on any of the 30+ sites I’ve set them up on so this is interesting.
Let me know if there’s anything you would like me to try while I have this local copy of the site.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Media Library Assistant] IPTC Mapping on Upload Incompatible With Smush ProHi David,
Thank you for the quick response.
I did see that past topic and was hoping it would solve my problem but it did not so I decided to open this topic.
Unfortunately Media/Add New Media admin screen has the same problem. I totally understand not being able to purchase paid plugins for this purpose. The free version should be nearly identical to the pro version as far as core functionality goes, so hopefully you won’t need it.
I really appreciate the service you provide to the WordPress community with this plugin.
I’ll keep trying some things on my end as well and report back if I find anything.
Thanks,

In reply to: [Schema] Timeouts on posts with a lot of linksHello Hesham,
Thank you for taking some time to look into this.
There does not appear to be any logged errors other than the 502 itself. I have also disabled the plugin now so that you can see the page.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help.
