The animations are turned off, but that shouldn’t effect the issue at hand. I did look through the forum at other user’s complaints of similar issue and saw unsatisfactory replies – no point in making more threads on the same subject when no resolution is available.

The issue is RCB is busting through Delay JS. Perfmatters is set to delay all scripts, but RCB is busting through and running itself, which generates a significant script load (enough to fail LCP when RCB is enabled, while LCP passes with perfect scores with RCB disabled).

@magazine3 thanks for the reply, updated to the latest version and the errors/problem still persists.

Version 2.0.56.1 is the latest version where there’s no conflict in my test.

Okay it’s working now… I just needed to turn off the settings “condition logic for this form?” from “yes” to “no”. Lol. Thanks for the help!

Ah yes the ‘view more’ is working now, just had to turn off hierarchy.

I see what I was doing wrong in the importer too, I didn’t hit “save” after selecting my file for import, I guess I’m conditioned from other plugins for those modals to have an ‘import’ button or to just run automatically. Rookie mistake on my part not to try the Save button lol

The 0 = critical error thing is just a suggestion for future change, maybe disable selecting 0 or put a warning. Someone might change to 0 for testing, and then freak out when their frontend of site is broken.

hello, yes it’s the auto insertion of the ToC into posts, the ToC doesn’t insert itself. If I disable the social plugin then the auto insert works, if I enable the social plugin then auto insert fails. If I roll easytoc back to older version then it works fine with the social plugin.

Installed the update from today, it worked/fixed this issue. Thanks!

@plantprogrammer thanks for the reply, yes I’m referring to the blocks editor in WP. When you’re in a paragraph block and click the link icon, then a popout box with link options and an input field “search or type url” comes up, usually we’ll start writing the title of a post there and the popout box will populate with different posts that match the query. After selecting one of the posts that populates in the list, the editor then plops the url to that post as hyperlinked text. It used to hyperlink the post title of whichever post was selected, but now just places the url to that post and links that text – the text/url (not post name/title).

I’ve also seen this issue, when trying to load the “saved templates” it is failing to load templates, instead it loads uploaded images… Rolling back to the last version worked.

@diamanta29 Kadence is very good (lots of functionality and easy to get passable core web vitals/pagespeed). GeneratePress Pro and Astra Pro are also good options, but are for more advanced users.
