Hey Guys.. I met the same problem and now it is solved.
For me, the problem is because of permalinks.
The permalink I had before the problem was /%category%/%postname%/

as the event page’s link is https://ursite.com/ai1ec/event_name/eventid=…
WP seems to assume ‘ai1ec’ as a category.

now I changed the permalink to just /%postname%/ and it works for me.

but even though it works, you have to sacrifice the feature of ‘permalink’, but for me loosing permalink for the sake of this plugin to works is okay.

when I tried to add a event ( from both main site and other sites)

Sorry for the delay… I installed the plugin in network admin. and network activated the plugin.

Now trying to change the options to make the plugin to use global table for storing events from the network admin menu, But its not working??

When trying to save an event, it says it couldn’t save it to the table…

if global table is enabled, where will the data save? which table?

or the events can be stored and accessed from a global table??

Now I am moving to another plugin called “Network Event Calendar”. It is not good as Events Manager, but works better than that now.

This is the exact error data..

do I have to change the database again?

actually I couldn’t able to change the settings, so that every events and locations will be stored in main site.

To enable this I need to go to phpMyAdmin and have to add some meta date in sitemeta table.

But after doing that, when I try to publish an event, it is not publishing. and it says something like this (but not exactly) “can’t update your event in index, contact your administrator.
I can’t say the exact error, because I deleted the meta data from sitemeta table. uninstalled the plugin and installed again. but still not working

I have a custom theme to all my sites. I have around 14 sites in my network. my main site located here adhiparasakthi.in. All I want to show all the events created in the subsites should be displayed in main website’s widget

the option changes, but I could not publish any event or location.

Here is what I am trying to do.
Going to Network admin -> Events Manager ->Events Manager (submenu)
Here in First Collapsible tab “Multisite Option” in that first option “Enable Global tables mode?”
I set it to “yes” and clicking on “Save all changes” button.
But after the page refresh no change has been saved

I network deactivated every single plug-in and activated events manager, but still I couldn’t activate global table mode.
Do I have to buy this to make it work? If you promise Marcus, I would like to buy it

I disabled all the plugins, but still can’t find a way to do this successfully
