Unfortunately, “Post Info” block seems to be a part of Pro version of Elementor plugin and we are not able to provide the code to display the icon. Please ask their support if there is some filter applied upon displaying “Post Info” data and we will be more than happy to help.

‘iconize_get_term_icon_by’ function is really easy to use and there should be no problems if there is appropriate filter in their plugin.

Could you please let us know if you are trying to add icon on Customizer screen or in Appearance->Menus screen and please let us know which plugins you are using so that we can check on our side if possible.

Also, you could try to troubleshoot by disabling all other plugins and, if it works, activating back one by one to see where the conflict is.
