Also, would there be a way to force cache of any page with a specific title, even for logged in users? I have a page titled “Design Yours” it will never contain any sensitive information its just a configurator page but it loads twice as fast cached as without. It is definitely not caching for logged in users, even if a cache exists

Hi, yes this is disabled, here is the difference from logged out to logged in, first is logged out, you can see the cached items from your plugin and also the images

Once, I dont know how, but I got it to show the cached items when logged in, whether this was from cloudflare I don’t know. However, I really hope you can solve this, hands down it is the best cache plugin out there and works seamlessly with my cloudflare!

Hi there, I did try to add a support ticket and filled in all the information, but it just said that P5Cure had received my request and would respond. I never got a ticket number to follow up. Its under my other account for pinkeq. I’ve received several requests from them for feedback on their support, but never got a response to the original request.

I havent heard anything, what I tend to do is disable smush and enable ACEIDE when I need to use it, then I re-enable smush after I have finished working on the site. Its not ideal, but it does allow you to use the plugin.

Thank you for your reply, yes we had to convert to 5.0 as we wanted some specific font awesome fonts and only 5.0 had them. Of course we then found out that Font Awesome have changed many of their i codes to display the fonts.

We will definitely want to continue using your plugin, it is by far the best one out there in my opinion and we have tried a few!

I had this same problem after upgrading to 2.6.1, I had a copy of 2.5.5 and rolled it back, it now works

Its probably best if you have a copy of 2.5.5 and have been unable to use it with the newer version that you swap it back.

you can try adding this to your custom CSS.

however, if you want to do more complex changes and you are not comfortable with CSS yourself, then it is best to hire someone to do this for you.

if you look along the line where it sys preview there is a little black triangle, this is the ability to show/hide the preview, click on that and see if it shows up.

If it doesn’t and you have not made any changes and your configuration is now not showing up when it did before, then I can only suggest that you possibly have got a corrupted file. This plugin works by a main config file and additionally image files that link to the config, any one that doesn’t match up, will cause issues, I know because I tried taking shortcuts to copy options and messed up a few configurations myself.

If you can go back to the version that worked then start again that would probably be best.

Before I give help, just want to say this is not my product, but I do now use it and so happy to offer a response.

For the admin preview, it will only work if all the correct options are there, because it is those that create your preview on the admin side. It may be that somehow your database has become corrupted, so if you have kept a back up I would first restore your wordpress to a copy where everything was working.

One thing I can see from your preview window is very small, and your icons tiny, is this how you meant it to be, or is this also not working out properly? From what I can see this is not how the original default file would look so I am assuming you also made some changes to the skin (class-vpc-default-skin.php)?

In your case unless you have literally hundreds of designs, I would start afresh, re-install the plugin and return to the original default layout, it should work fine for the type of product you are displaying. Also, since this plugin is responsive so will work on a mobile, you should consider making your images bigger – they will shrink automatically for mobile phones and it means that desktop users can really see the detail on your designs.

If this is not really something you can personally do, given the price you are looking for your product, I would look at places like fiver (for images) or upworks (for software development) to help with getting the best looking product configurator for you.

I am working on my own website, so here is a preview of what this software can do, it does have its limitations, but you can make it look really cool! So happy configuring.
