Hey Opa!

Thank you. I got the plugin, installed it and went to the updates area in Iv Frontend download links. I setup everything and I am not seeing a download button added anywhere and when I use the movie’s download button the file is still the old number name.

I sent you a mail if you want to check it out on my site.

First of all, IT WORKED!!!hahahahah TOTALLY WORKED!

Second of all, HOW DO YOU DO IT!?!?!? I can’t imagine all the thinking that has gone into this plugin to the point you have some sort of programming input in there to allow this kind of thing to happen?!?!? It’s mind boggling. WOW!!

OK, also super big thanks and side note that on my plugin the PHP input box was
Advanced settings -> Maintenance . -> II -> Item 36
and not
Advanced settings -> Maintenance . -> II -> Item 23

In fact – there was no box 23 at all in the plugin.

But that is a minor note, overall THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Opa,

Sadly no, I have so many images and they are so large that I turned off the ‘save the sourcefile’ function.

Any other thoughts or tricks I might pull to make it happen? I’m already coming to drips with the fact I might have to nuke the gallery and just reupload the images. I hate losing the comments and the “likes” but the upgrade in image quality will be significant.

FYI – I did try to rename the original photo from inside WPPA and it looks like I was only modifying the display name as the FILE name remained the same.

That actually works pretty nicely!

There are some things I wish I could tweak but overall I like that you can just do it. I see it seems to use a sort of gallery “pre-display” and clicking on and image will bring me into the gallery proper but overall I will play around with it on my site!

That was the trick. It works exactly as expected. The albums show the correct count of the images and the image in the Lightbox is numbered in the expected order.

OK – Opa – tried duplicating your albums but no go on my site.

Sent you a letter with adjusted access so you can see me settings. I feel like I have something else setup on my albums that is causing this.

Can’t put my finger on it though – your lightbox works exactly like it should and mine is being weird.

Also – quick note – I am not sure when this started I can only tell you when I noticed it. I have only done really basic lightbox tests lately and haven’t even done something thoroughly like now.

Because I am starting to really encourage people to use the lightbox is why I’m noticing it now. I have been doing a lot of album tests.

Hmmm interesting… you have a few different settings going than I do.. I wonder if I adjust one of mine to be like yours. Example

On this album when I click on an image there is an index in the lower right corner showing all the seven images I can clickon. When I click on the lightbox from there I see not only the image correct and all the images in the album BUT, and this is crazy, the image is in it’s correct count too which it’s never on mine. In other words If I click on image 3 and goto the lightbox from there it shows in the light box as 3/7. On my albums that would show up as 1/4

I wonder if I turned off something that you are using as a count or marker. My albums are mostly the basics and you can see on my site what I have on and off and I definitely have that little index off in the settings.

I’ll keep checking.
