In reply to: Can’t get rid of plugin which breaks my site! Thanks. I always run the latest version of WordPress and, as stated, am aware how to roll back to previous plugin versions (have already done so). I’ve tried everything and this plugin still doesn’t work anymore and breaks my site when I try to delete it!

In reply to: URGENT! All Post Content Suddenly Gone! Thanks all. After disabling each plug-in showed no change I tried rolling back the suspected culprit and it fixed the issue. Will look at replacing that plug-in now.

In reply to: URGENT! All Post Content Suddenly Gone!No new ones. Did recently update a few though have since disabled each of them one-by-one (and emptied the cache) with no change.

In reply to: Using Custom Post Images for RSS FeedThanks so much. This helps a lot and I really appreciate your reply.
So, I need to figure out how to tag/label (whatever it’s called) my specific images so they are grabbed for each post. Hmmm. I was hoping there was some way to add an image upload box to the post dash. You know, just like the “Featured Image” uploader that appears in the right side bar. I thought it would be cool to add an additional box that was the “RSS Image” uploader. Would this be possible?Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RSS published post disappearingThanks again James. Sorry I took a while to respond (have been on vacation).
I did know WordPress has a built-in feed, though is there a way to get stats on that? I did like that Feedburner indicated an approx. no. of RSS subscribers.
It’s interesting though…I checked the feed in Safari (I usually use Chrome) and the latest post is missing from there too.
I will have to check out some of the email plug-ins. Thanks for the info.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RSS published post disappearingI don’t know much about feed providers as I don’t personally use readers.
I guess I just liked the fact it offered an easy email sign-up and delivery service and gave me a syndicated feed. I did also like the fact I could ‘see’ the feed (it wan’t just all in HTML – or whatever that’s called). That’s about it.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RSS published post disappearingJust wanted to come back and say things are still broken. The next day my RSS feed was back to showing 9 articles and my latest post was no-where to be seen again. I tried resyncing Feedburner once more though it changed nothing.
Time to find a new service me thinks.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RSS published post disappearingCheers. I posted over there a few hours back (no response yet) though I also tried a few things and got it working.
I think I had exceeded the RSS size limit. It would be handy to receive some kind of notification from FeedBurner if that was the case though. Still not sure if it explains why my post showed up initially then disappeared (more than once).
I changed my syndication max. to 5 (from 10) then when that seemed to fail (as nothing changed – caching?) I resynced FeedBurner entirely.
Seemed to do the trick.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: RSS published post disappearingThanks so much. Okay, well that poses a problem though as they don’t offer much, if any, support over there. I’ll see what I can do.

I just checked and it’s gone again! My main concern is getting the email out as that is one of my main sources of traffic.

In reply to: [WordPress Related Posts] "Edit Related Posts" Removed?Any chance of making the code change (as per McCosmin’s suggestion) in a future release? Every time I update I have to edit the code again.

In reply to: Comments suddenly not working in ChromeSuddenly started working again. Thanks.

In reply to: Comments suddenly not working in ChromeHmmm, I’m not a developer so have no idea about validation. Will check it out. This is just a strange error because it seems only to be affecting the new post and I’ve not changed anything else. Thanks.
