Plugin uses the_content filter to position the icons at the top and bottom of the content of the web page. Position and occurrence of the icons depend on how your theme utilizes this filter. You can add following CSS in the Custom CSS option at the plugin configuration page in the admin area to get rid of the unwanted icons.
