This solution does redirect the site, but it no longer logs the redirects. This works for now because the site I’m redirecting TO also has the redirection plugin installed…so I can deal with the change in url structure at the new site and check the 404 log there as well. I lose the ability to know which redirects/404s are coming from the old site, but I suppose that’s not the end of the world.

I dug around our code, and I see that this alt text code is in our jetpack, but we have a different SEO tool overriding the jetpack settings, so I will mark this solved. thanks for your help!

That looks like the exact issue I want to solve. But it was never included in a JetPack update?

Can I just copy/paste that code to those two php files? Won’t it get overwritten the next time JetPack updates?

Oh that’s good to know…and I accidentally figured that out the hard way… I made an edit to a feed settings and it re-imported a bunch of old podcast episodes I had deleted once already. Any chance a future release could have a checkbox that allowed me to just make changes to the settings without it re-pulling the feed? In my example I wanted to change who the author was for the auto-import posts. So a checkbox to have it not pull the feed after a settings change…or an option to only pull episodes since date xx/xx/xxxx

Are you using “quick edit” to change things after it’s posted? like author/category/etc?

Using quick edit will resubmit your article with no content.

Waiting for it to be fixed before sending to facebook for review. We’ve been rejected twice because of this.
