Hi Thomas,
I just reached out through the form.
Hi Thomas,
Yes I can download and install a plugin from GitHub and do the tests.
Hello Thomas,
I did another test. I installed the Classic Widgets plugin and after activating I can access my widgets without any problems. I will leave it activated but I can still help figuring out the error if you need me to do any tests.
As a test I disabled the Image Sources plugins and then removed all the widgets on the widgets page (even the in the inactive block) and saved it. After enabling the plugin again the error still occurs so it doesn’t seem to be related to any of the active Widgets.
I have 4 images in the sidebar so that’s not that much. I can’t think of anything that would load a lot of images there.
This is the error in my error log:
PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 20480 bytes) in /www/thecrazytourist_746/public/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 2854″
Hi Thomas,
I have downloaded and installed the version but unfortunately it still gives the same error.
Thx,
Jan.Yes I’ve used quite some time without issues, but I don’t know when the issue with the Widgets page started as I don’t visit it often.
Almost all my images have image credit info, many of them don’t have the URL though because we only need to provide name/source when we buy a license for the image. Source urls are just the typical length I guess and the descriptions are short as well. At the moment everything seems to work fine except for the widgets page.
If it helps you improve the plugin we could do a skype where I walk you through it or have you explore the backend.
I’m now at almost 64000 so quite big.
