I have this same issue, I hate it! I have to uncheck the option to post and do it manually to get around it and it is so annoying.

I’m not sure if I am reading all of this right, but I think I have the same question….

I write a post/blog entry and it sends it to my FB time line.

Now what I do not get is if a comment is made on either FB or on WP using the FB comment….are they suppose to show up on one another>

Comment on WP and it shows up on FB page

or

Comment of FB and it shows up on WP Post

I can comment on both regarding the post but they do not sync with one another. I was under the impression that they do? Am I wrong?

I also select to post to FB on my WP and nothing?

I have googled everything I can think of and cannot get this thing to work if it is suppose to work the way I thought.

I am not that great at code but can get around with simple instructions. I am totally lost on this one!

I tried Suffusion and a few others even some of the Twenty (10,11,12) templates, one worked but I didn’t like the format of the theme so I settled with no header. Like I said all of mine are on a Multisite Network so my issues may be a little different. I’ve spent 3 days trying to figure this out. I only have an issue with new sites created with the log in or if I try and change the header on the old ones I lose the header. I’ve posted stuff and searched and have yet to get an answer from anyone that resolves the issue. I haven’t needed to setup a new site or change a header until now so I am not sure if it is a 3.4 or 3.5 issue. but I am pretty sure it it WP and not the template with everything I have been testing out on my network. Either way I hope it is fixed soon!

I’m having the same issues, but I am noticing similar issues with other themes as well. I think these is something going on with WP updates and themes. I’ve tried about everything! I am using a WPMU blog and my parent is working and one child, but the newest child is not.

I think there is some sort of an issue with this update. I can’t get any of my headers to attach correctly since this update.

Any idea on how to fix this? its weird cause the other sire

OK I think what is happening is that my files are not being read properly.

I have upgraded since my first sub-dom was created and I am reading that they no longer write to the blog.dir however it appears that everything is still going there on my install.

Any suggestions as to how to fix all of this without doing a reinstall? I know if I do I will screw this up royally!

If I select to not have the header text, nothing is there. The image is in my media library.

ok I am wondering if there is something in the code that has to change because I know it use to point to the ms-files and according to the 3.5 updates that has changed?

Multisite: switch_to_blog() is now used in more places, is faster, and more reliable.
You can now use multisite in a subdirectory, and uploaded files no longer go through ms-files (for new installs).

found the links Question so never mind on that….now to figure out this header. I can deal with not having it, it was just custom text, but its bugging me.

I don’t get an error, it just doesn’t show up. That’s the weird thing. I can upload pictures to the site with no issues, its just this bloody header? After 7 hours of screwing with it and recreating it 13 times I gave up!

So as far as the Links go…did they grandfather that option into “old sites” because my site 2 (sub 2) has it? Thats what confused me.

Is there another option for links/blogrolls? I can write the HTML for it if I have to but why do that if I don’t need to ??
