I had similar slow dashboard loading problems for months. About 90% of the time any and ever page in the dashboard would just timeout and not load. The problem was unique to my home computer, so I knew it wasn’t plugin or other type problems
I tried everything I could cleaning the system, rebooting, different browsers, upgrading, to no avail.
Eventually, I found that if I bypassed my linksys router which I was not even using wirelessly it worked fine. Eventually I upgraded my firmware on the router and everything worked great! Who knew?
