Center alignment is working but the comment box is still stretching to full width instead of inheriting the post margins.

The issue went away and I am again running TLG with W3TC. It may have been the W3TC which issued several minor updates. I do appreciate TLG.

My errors became less frequent after adjusting W3TC settings but they still occur.

I was going to increase APC memory but could not determine where to make the change – at the host level or under the W3TC config’s.

I have two WP installs and I delete and purge Akismet Spam and redirection log every day and my databases are not large.
Web has a 1.6MB SQL file with only wp_commentmeta 38KB
Blog has a 8.7MB SQL file, wp_commentmeta 370KB

This issue started when I installed W3 Total Cache 3 days after moving my sites.

I may have found the issue in pagespeed and yslow sometimes miss identifying compression as an issue. Just made some tweaks for some additonal gains on TTFB.

I was also confused by pagespeed, Yslow and webpagetest on gzip compression’s true status. tweak based on hte suggestions above and gained soem additional performance especially on TTFB.

I hope I presented this correctly. My .htaccess show gzip configurations from W3TC so as I said I am lost as to where to turn next.

I have that same question before using CDN with:

&
blog.mydomain.com

and how best use CDN. Mine are on the same VPS but not MU.

Manual method worked like a champ. Hopefully I am good on the update for automatic.

I am 4 days into a migration to a VPS solution using Plesk and I HATE it. It is of course all operator error and/ignorance of Plesk.

Migration process worked fine but using Plesk for what I think is a Plesk only task hooks into WP and makes changes Arg! I can see the benefits for a fresh vanilla site or hosting providers but the hurdles to undo Plesk’s desire to be the interface or control for WP admin is now unbearable. Undoing it is another matter.

Shouting – thx for the suggestion. I do not have that option enabled and the problem has since diminished. My thought was it could have been more timeout related.

That seemed to be the conclusion but I am not smart enough to know for sure.

Also experiencing broken links through the plugin. Redirection Log links to additional pages numbers and “Next” as well as the Redirection Next Page and page numbers. and more.

I found a workaround to this issue which apparently addresses other slow update issues as well.

I had to remove ALL of the Update Services in Settings>>>Writing. This is only a workaround as it is still not clear why saving a draft of Preview envokes the services update.
