I did and still nothing. Okay I think I’m going to just do a uninstall and re-install. What file should I save before I do that? I know the wp-config.php file I need to save. What file should I save if I don’t want to lose any of my comments? I have all my posts save in text files so I’m not concerned with those.

I do have an index.php file in my root folder and a blank index.html file. I’m not quite sure why its blank but it is.

I checked my .htaccess and this is what is in it:

Also…when I go to https://www.thehousedog.com/index.html I get an error on my site that says the page cannot be found.

I’m guessing this is the reason why I can’t access my site. I checked the index.html file in my file manager on go daddy and it’s blank. Should it be?

I’m not familiar with code and use wordpress because it makes it easier, so any simple explanation as to what I need to do would be GREATLY appreciated.

At this point I’m afraid to do an uninstall and install and lose all my data.

I upgraded to the new theme thesis 1.5.1.

I ask because my site https://www.thehousedog.com is not showing up after i did the wordpress upgrade to 2.8.1 and the thesis upgrade to 1.5.1.

I keep getting this error:

Safari can’t open the page “https://thehousedog.com/” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection, which sometimes occurs when the server is busy. You might be able to open the page later.

I uninstalled the theme and it was still doing it. I them downgraded back to wordpress 2.8 and it’s still doing it.

Any suggestions?

i switched back to the default theme and nothing happened. It still not opening up the website.

And what is IE and FF?

Ok. This is just so frustrating. Is there anyway I can just upload 2.7 automatically. I use Godaddy and they only offer WordPress 2.6.3
