Dont know if a fix has been found that can be manually made.

I posted this a couple weeks ago and received no response. I’m hoping now that WP 2.5.1 has been out a little bit now, perhaps there would be someone who knows a fix.

Ditto on the podpress

It seems to be a problem with Podpress. As soon as I deactivated Podpress, everything worked fine.

Guess not a lot of people use this so I will close it out.

I’ve got muliple wp installs and it works on all but the one being hosted by Godaddy. Dont know if that matters or not.

Has this issue been added to trac previously?

Hahah….I’m already a WordPress fan. I have a dozen WP sites. I’m trying to bring over a client’s site to WP.

I may have found my own answer to get it activated. Gonna try this:

On Windows NT, 2000, XP and 2003:

Go to Control Panel and open the System icon (Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> System, or just Start -> Control Panel -> System for Windows XP/2003)

Go to the Advanced tab

Click on the ‘Environment Variables’ button

Look into the ‘System Variables’ pane

Find the Path entry (you may need to scroll to find it)

Double click on the Path entry

Enter your PHP directory at the end, including ‘;’ before (e.g. ;C:\php)

Press OK and restart your computer

Ok, I took the ; off the line where Openssl was in the php.ini file. SO I assume that means it is no longer commented out.

Then I also put a copy of libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll into my system32 folders.

Nothin. Still the same error. Do I need to reset something?
