    Hello John,

    A quick update. Really Simple SSL was the problem this time.

    I deactivated all plugins and then manually reactivated all one by one, and Really Simple SSL was the problem. Its plugin not only stopped your plugin but also removed a function called “File Editor for Themes” in “Appearance/Customize for Kadence Theme.

    Your plugin seem to work now. Fingers crossed ??

    Hi John,

    Okay, thanks. But one odd thing – to me odd anyway – is that when I get that internal server errors, the website “policies” I have chosen and clicked “Save”, gets deleted. My choices are simply lost. So I need to place them again. And then try. This have happened to me numerous times over a two week period, while working on this client website of mine. Yesterday it was not lost, which was welcoming. And this “new” behaviour came after I deactivated – or if i deleted it – the plugin and then had it reinstalled.

    I′ll keep digging into the error message of internal server error seen in the plugin settings page.

    For my other two websites – my own illustration website and online course site, the plugin fly beautifully. It is just this third one that creates this.

    Hi again,

    Here a follow-up.

    I got higher level support help from Vimeo, who found the culprit. A meta refferrer with a no-referrer wasnt removed after plugin deletion, I presume. And/or when I reinstalled the redirection plugin again it appeared. Vimoe support said to replace it with: content – origin, or just remove it.

    That gave me back Vimeo video player with password fields available again.

    I also found more CSP snippets that just doesnt work with Vimeo video player anyway, was when I made website settings from start again, in the redirection plugin. The one that doesn’t work, and messes upp the entire website layout, design, UI.

    Dont use: Content Security Policy: style – src ‘ self ’;

    I posted the source code in my brand new blog post. This forum moderators wont allow code – they never allowed mine. canvas .nu / blog

    Best regards and cheers as I sip more coffee, double espress, fresh grind

    Hi again,

    Unfortunately the problem persist even after deleting the plugin.

    I will use your plugin for a clients website that is not a online course website, but unfortunately it doesnt work even after eleting the plugin.

    Now had a respons email from Vimeo. Hope they can see whats the problem with their API and whatever it can be.

    It all worked before I installed your plugin. And it doesnt work now. And, well, maybe it had stopped working with vimeo vidoes anyway later on. Maybe Vimeos fault. Maybe LMS Plugin Learnpress upgrade of their plugin. I am lost.

    The sad part is, I whanted to implement this CSP to increase security, but it broke my embedded videos.

    No hard feelings, happy I donated 20 anyway. Its life. It is what it is.

    For reference here a temporary L, that I made for Vimeo to look at.

    Hi,
    Thanks. I would had thought so too.
    But, whet happen now is that what was never an issue with vimeo videos embedded in an online course I have – with password protected videos – have now just become an issue. After installing the plugin.

    So, even if the plugin itself may not be the issue, something happened.

    Maybe it leaves snippets of code somewhere?

    Hi John,

    In trying your suggestion to remove it, the plugin, I still have the error message.

    Before deactivating the plugin I first pressed the trashcvan icon in the Redirection plugin.

    And then deactivated the plugin.

    But still see the error message. Would you know where, which files, I should open and manually remove these codes?

    Kind regards

    Hello,

    No, no warnings at all.
    URL is https://www.lenedental.se/omdomen/

    Hi Mauoguitar,

    The CSS code I mentioned solved my issue to some extent. But, I highly suggest placing the question also, at the plugin developer’s own support forum. I get lots of support and help from them. Search on the web for “thimpress dot com”

    Hi Touchofh,

    1) Support ticket go to Learnpress own website and forum and register an account there. And place a question, support on their official site. That’s where premium support is given.

    Look for Thimpress dot come on Google search. I’m not allowed to add external link here.

    2) I saw you placed the same question as I did, a year ago. And I found a CSS code that solved on my site.

    About how to deactive / remove how many students are enrolled into a single course.

    This code solved it. Place it in Customize/ extra css

    Place in the bottom, empty area that is. So not to mix with other possible code.

    .course-meta-secondary .course-meta__pull-left .meta-item-student{
    display: none !important;
    }

    Happy new year!

    Hello,

    The great news is that that the latest update (today that is version 4.0 and the updated 4.0 is now 4.0.7 when I write this) of their LP plugin improved and updated and made possible most of the issues you ask.

    So my suggestion is to update to 4.0 and higher.

    For instance, the Lp Profile page/login and register page now allow for added form fields. Look in the plugin settings tabs.

    They updated the Lp Profile / Login page so there is no need for other plugins for logn and register pages.

    The User pgae / Lp Profile page looks much better and way more intuitive. No old boring WordPress Default user login page.

    This is/was a big update to their LMS Plugin, so be aware to save your wordpress at least Dasboard/Settings or Tools/Export. And a backup plugin if you have that too. In case anything happens .

    I personally is very happy with their new imporved technically & visually (UX/UI) LMS Plugin.

    Ive uninstalled several plugins I no longer need. On both my own site and a clients site I also built.

    Found it!
    And Solved it! ??

    The problem was that I had two pages with permalink URL slug “account”. One that was called “account” and one “account-2”. So, I saw to that the plugin Ultimate Member plugin shortcode was copy and pasted into the page with permalink Url – slug: “account”.

    Yippii!

    Hello Dan,

    Thanks! Appreciate it.
    It didnt solve it entirely for me.

    I decided to go with Ultimate Member plugin instead and suddenly users couldnt click the user name breadcrumb. That is, I added a redirect to another page.

    Best regards
    Stefan
