With that template you can write the Title using WP editor and thus can change its color too.

I could see menu item hover working on your site.

If the current page is in the menu, it will highlight. Normally, posts are not in the menu.

Thank you for post, you can safely ignore these warnings.

As the comment section doesn’t need headings.

I also checked the WordPress latest default theme (https://wp-themes.com/twentytwentyone/?p=1 ) to double check if we are doing anything wrong and it seems those warnings are there too for the comment section.

Will the images be distorted or improperly cropped? In various places (home page, responsive slider, related posts with thumbnails).

For images in new posts, no issue. For existing posts, you will have to run the following plugin once, so that the old images are adjusted to theme specific sizes.

Please provide broken widget screenshot.

You can try the widget in the another WordPress and non modified theme installation to check the working of the widget and then later apply your customization to figure out what is causing the issue.

Featured image is auto generated, just upload bigger images greater than 700px

New version now has this

Currently, featured image is used for thumbnails only on home and category pages in the free version. This option is already available in Pro version however we will include it in the free version too in the upcoming update.
