Hmmm that’s weird. I tested on some sites with 5.2.4 and it works. But on some others it doesn’t.

I even disactivated the plugin, enabled it again, and setup the firewall again, but still I can’t make it work. So the problem remains on many sites.

Also, during the activate/deactivate process, I noticed that some rules are not applied when I activate the plugin again. The plugin settings should not change if I activate/deactivate. I noticed these 2 settings so far, I have them enabled, but when I deactivate and the activate again, they are switched off.

I don’t know if that’s related, probably not, but please have a look into this too.

Hi Clara, thanks for your kind words!

Maybe we will add this in the future. In the meantime, you can use an existing hook to add a description.

Add the following to your child theme’s functions.php file, or in a plugin like Code snippets.

You can also add some CSS to style it, using the class dc-tgpc-description, for example:

Add your CSS in your child theme’s style.css file, or the WordPress Customizer -> Custom CSS.

I agree 100% with @ntellos13 , the code should not be changed because one specific system requires the EL format. There are other integrations like payment gateways that require the GR code. The correct way is to make a mapping before sending the data to any 3rd party if need be. You could hire someone who can do this for you, but changing the code for everybody is not a solution.

For anyone looking to do the same thing, I wrote this code that seems to work fine:

Hmmm, this was not the way it worked in the past, maybe I noticed the change just now.

Is there a way (with code I guess) to skip the “prominent image from the page’s content” and use the “Social default image” image instead? It is creating so many problems with unwanted images in all the wrong dimensions, causing odd croppings on social sharing.

Hello, please read my post more carefully about the conditions when this problem appears.

These 2 things must be true at the same time for the problem to appear.
1. NO featured image set
2. Post content includes an image, inserted with a GT block or elementor.

Then the og:image is not the default from the settings, but the image included in the content.

Thanks for trying to help. I know how to fix this error too. But I like this plugin, I use it frequently and don’t want to upload the modified files every time.

Also, we both know how to overcome this, but most people don’t, so I think it’s better for everyone to fix this error in the “plugin-level” and not at “user-level”.

UPDATE:
I switched theme to Storefront and used the default WC filters by attribute and the same thing happens again, so it has nothing to do with Woodmart. This is a issue on your end.

I also found out that if I disable the new attribute lookup table, the filters work again. So the problem appears when Relevanssi is active AND the attribute lookup table is in use.

I switched off the table usage for now but I think this should be fixed, as it’s WC core feature.
